General Tips For Using This Site

This site is currently designed to facilitate initial connections. Once you have made initial contact with a fellow member, all further interactions will happen via the chosen contact method and outside this site.

If you are temporarily not available to start new coaching exchanges, consider adding a note to your profile page to let your fellow users know.

All pages in the Members Area are restricted to approved site members and are not visible to the public or indexed by search engines.

Consider what personal information you need to share when creating your profile. We encourage use of business email addresses and/or booking services such as Calendly for members to get in touch with you.

Ensure your profile is set as public if you want your profile to be seen and in order to follow others.

Ensure you read and understand expectations of coaches using this platform as identified below on this page.

This site is aligned with the UBC COC program’s statements on Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging. Instances of bullying and behaviour not in alignment with our Program Statement and policies will not be tolerated.
Coaching Exchanges
Site members are responsible for co-creating and maintaining their client-coach agreements in accordance with the ICF Code of Ethics.
Responsible Use of Email & Messaging
Site members may make their email addresses or other means of communication available to fellow members in order to keep in touch, form new connections, create coaching exchanges and to promote common interests.
Use of personal contact information available on this platform including names, email addresses, scheduling site information, work information and personal information for commercial or promotional purposes is prohibited. This includes for the purposes of: solicitation for business/personal services, fundraising, and broadcast emails.
Consequences for Violating These Guidelines
If a member is found to be in violation of any of these guidelines they may receive a warning, or their membership may be cancelled.
